EAST WEST LOVE

Tito is a meticulous Nigerian event planner who believes a good life is built the same way as a flawless celebration: with preparation, control and no room for unpleasant surprises. Days before the romantic holiday she has carefully arranged in Mombasa, she discovers that her boyfriend Chudi has been unfaithful.

Her first instinct is to cancel everything. But with the trip non-refundable—and her best friend Jummai refusing to let heartbreak waste a perfectly good holiday—Tito reluctantly turns the getaway into a girls’ escape.

At the hotel she meets Juma, a charming manager whose spontaneity unsettles her carefully defended ideas about love, trust and control.

Moving between the energy of Lagos and the beauty of Kenya’s coast, East West Love is a warm romantic comedy about second chances, cross-cultural connection and the uncomfortable freedom of letting go. It understands that healing is rarely tidy—and that the journey we resist may be the one that returns us to ourselves.
