Africa Film Fest Australia presents a program of short films. From experimental forms to intimate narratives, the Shorts offer a window into the diverse lived experiences and imaginations of African and Afro-diasporic communities.
AFFA’s short film program has become one of the most anticipated highlights of the festival.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session

In the heart of the ancient Botswana savanna, a royal lineage is haunted by a dark omen.
To lift a brewing curse, a troubled King was once advised to sacrifice his unborn daughter, Ntitietsana, or risk her being followed by a "dark cloud" forever.
The King spared her, but the prophecy took form in the girl’s spirit: unlike her sister Ntiti, who embodies grace and traditional respect, Ntitietsana has grown into a sharp-tongued and defiant princess, seemingly possessed by the very darkness the King tried to outrun.
